Already in 1997 the comer stone was layed for what is now the ennit group of companies. The objective was to found an IT company, of which we ourselves would like to be a client. A dynamically growing, but regionally rooted company developed, which opened to international business segments and clients right from the start. Meanwhile, 260 employees are spread to three business locations in the Kiel city area. In 2011 they were able achieve a revenue of round about 12 million Euro in 2011 by servicing more than 13,000 private and business clients. Even with double-digit turnover-gains, the profit maximisation is not the focus of attention. The importancy still lies within the satisfaction of clients, partners and employees, carried by mutual success.
To be able to cover the complete spectrum of services on basis of information and communication technology, the ennit AG founded several specialised subsidiaries: The ennit server GmbH for the management of the technical infrastructure, the ennit software GmbH for the develoipment and integration of ennit-own software and the ennit interactive GmbH for the conception and configuration of high-performance websites. The ennit AG itself adds the fields of research and development as well as IT consulting. This way, the brand ennit combines several service areas which complement each other. Furthermore, it can hark back to a wide service portfolio with outstanding synergy effects. As a further subsidiary company, the TNG Stadtnetz GmbH complements the service portfolio with solutions for telecommunication.
